Holt WorldWide Co Ltd, the owners and operators of HoltSoftware.com has built a solid reputation since we opened in 1995. We have a team of highly qualified programmers capable of writing programs in many different languages, including online and offline applications. We have written a wide range of applications, including SQL database programs for websites; accounting programs; factory production and inventory programs linked to an accounting system; database systems linked to CAD/CAM/CAE software to record and report on construction materials and produce an instant costing report, and much more.

To ensure we provide the best quality programs and websites possible, our staff spend a lot of time studying the latest technologies and learning how to apply them. We are members of various discussion groups and mailing lists so that we are always aware of the latest technologies and techniques. We are also members of the HTML Writers Guild. In addition, Marc Holt, our Managing Director, writes articles about the computer industry, designing websites and programs, operating systems, and e-commerce for various publications.

In 1999 we were the first software company in Thailand to be awarded the coveted Board Of Investment (BOI) privileges, designed to encourage companies to invest in developing the software industry in Thailand. Privileges include an 8-year company tax break, ability to import overseas experts to work for us, import and export computer hardware and software duty free, and more.

Our Staff

Marc Holt, Managing Director, has over 35 years experience in the computer business. He started working on mainframe computers and crypto machines in the Royal Australian Airforce (RAAF) in 1966, and graduated to desktop computers in 1985. Since then he has worked for various companies as a systems analyst, database designer, and programmer. He was responsible for designing and installing an advanced CAD/CAM/CAE system for Thai Konoike Construction in 1992.

He headed a team of programmers as Technical Manager for Magic Software Thailand from 1994 to 1997 before leaving the company to start Holt WorldWide Co Ltd. The company started out designing websites for companies, and in 1999 the company was one of the first to be granted BOI granted it Investment Promotional Privileges.

Marc continues to grow the company through his many contacts in the computer industry. He began outsourcing much of the work to Indian companies in 2001 and this has been very successful, as it has freed Marc to manage the business and to ensure quality control for all the projects the company undertakes.

Our staff consists of a team of software programmers and website designers with skills in many programming languages, databases, web design tools, graphic programs and other skill sets to produce both online and offline applications and websites. Our team of graphic designers produce a variety of web-ready and print-ready graphics for any project we undertake. Our systems analysts and quality control staff ensure that all projects are brought to completion professionally and on time.

We work on all major platforms, including all versions of Microsoft, Linux, UNIX and MAC operating systems. Should we need to, we can call on a pool of qualified experts in a wide variety of disciplines through our association with the Software Park Project to ensure that any project we take on will be handled efficiently.
